In a sign of growing bonhomie between the two leaders, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee here.
The meeting took place at Parliament House during which Banerjee introduced several of her party's MPs to the Delhi Chief Minister.
The meeting assumes significance in the run up to Assembly polls scheduled next year in West Bengal. The two leaders have met in the past and have both protested against what they claimed was Centre's interference in the working of state governments.
They had also backed JD-U leader Nitish Kumar as he led the grand alliance against BJP in the recently-concluded Bihar polls.
Incidentally, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien had questioned Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi over the latter's attack on a "democratically-elected leader" in the wake of a row here.
The AAP government has been at odds with Delhi Police amidst claims by the ruling party that it is being targeted by the force.
