Vijayan spoke to V P Sahadevan and Jaishree, who are at Tezpur airforce station and consoled them, a statement from the Chief Minister's Office said.
The chief minister also promised to extend all help and assured them that he would take up the issue with the Centre again, if necessary.
Vijayan urged Defence Minister Arun Jaitley to provide all help to the family.
Since the wreckage of the jet and the black box had been recovered, Achudev's family are extremely worried, he said in an e-mail to Jaitley.
The jet had crashed shortly after takeoff from Tezpur on Tuesday. Though the wreckage was found, there are no reports yet about the two pilots.
On hearing about the mishap, his parents, who hail from Thiruvananthapuram, had left for Tezpur.
