Former WWE wrestler Khali tonight avenged his humiliation at the hands of Brody Steel by defeating the noted professional wrestler from Canada at Dehradun's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the entertainment show named 'The Great Khali Returns'.
Returning from a head injury sustained at the hands of the Canadian in Haldwani four days back, Khali knocked him down in style even as loud cheers greeted him from the audience.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat and Pradesh Congress President Kishore Upadhyay attended the event.
Organised by the Bharatiya Samajik Seva Sansthan, this was the first time that a wrestling event on the lines of WWE was held in Uttarakhand as part of the chief minister's youth outreach programme entitled 'CM4Youth'.
