The elections for the ITF President's post will be conducted on September 25 in Santiago, Chile.
ITF's incumbent President Francesco Ricci Bitti, 74, has announced that he would be stepping down after 16 years at the helm.
Khanna has Asian Tennis Federation since 2005.
"It is a great honour for Asia to nominate Mr Anil Khanna for this coveted post and they are hopeful that for the period of 2015-2019 the honour of ITF President-ship will go to Mr Anil Khanna as representative of Asia," ATF members said in a statement.
