Two days after a girl was allegedly abducted by some men from a community, leading to rioting in Khandoli here, peace prevailed on Thursday.
The incident had allegedly taken place at Semra village.
Police have booked at least 25 people in connection with rioting while no arrest has been made so far.
Etmadpur ASP Saurabh Dixit said peace prevailed at the village on Thursday.
The alleged kidnapping led to tension when the girl, a Class IX student, did not return home from her school on Tuesday.
While searching for the girl, her relatives were told that three people--Adil, Danish and Kaish--who belonged to another community had kidnapped her.
They complained to police, which allegedly failed to act, leading to rioting.
