Insiders reveal that the actress will portray the tough journalist and love interest of Ezra Miller's Barry Allen aka The Flash, according to Variety.
Clemons reunites with "Dope" director Rick Famuyiwa on the movie. She previously appeared in "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" alongside Chloe Moretz.
She can next be seen in "Little Bitches" and "Flatliners". The 22-year-old actress will reportedly make her debut as Iris West in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Justice League", which is currently being filmed in London.
The filming of "The Flash" is expected to begin sometime this year. Geoff Johns is attached to produce the film along with Alex Gartner, Dan Mazer and Charles Roven. "The Flash" will hit US theatres on March 16, 2018.
Now able to move at super-speed, Barry becomes The Flash protecting Central City from the threats it faces.
