"Ayudha pooja is an integral part of the Navarathri festival which is traditionally celebrated all over the country in different names," she said in her greetings.
She said it is a gesture of symbolising work as worship.
"Every implement that we use is worshipped with reverence. The celebration is a form of thanksgiving to the implements and to God for the wellness being bestowed," she said and wished that the people be blessed with good fortune.
