Kota Central Jail inmate dies in hospital

A 47-year-old jail inmate, who was serving life sentence, died during treatment in a hospital here, police said today.
Azad Husain, hailing from Chechat area of Kota district, was rushed to the hospital after he complained of chest pain yesterday. However, he died during treatment, Jailor of Kota Central Jail Kaluram Meena said.
His body was handed over to his family members after postmortem, he said.
The deceased was convicted for life on charges of rape and had been in the prison since 2009, Meena said.
