KRA cadre found dead

A hard core cadre of the Kuki
Revolutionary Army (KRA), which had inked the Suspension of Operation (SoO) pact with the government to have peace talk, was shot dead near a higher secondary school building at Kangpokpi in Manipur's Senapati district, a police officer said today.
The body of the deceased KRA, identified as Jamkolet (38) of Kangpokpi Bazar of the same district, was picked up by personnel of Kangpokpi police station this morning from the spot, the officer said.
The body has been taken to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) morgue for post-mortem.
Jamkolet was called out from his residence last night by few armed men and his bullet-riddled body was found near K T Higher Secondary School, the officer said quoting prima facie probe.
