The felicitation ceremony was held as part of the three-day world Punjabi literary fest scheduled to be held in Pune on November 18-20.
Those felicitated include Guru Sharan Singh, Punjab Kesari editor-in-chief Vijay Chopra, Jaideep Singh, son of famous Punjabi literatteur Mahip Singh, and Guru Sharan Singh, said Sanjay Nahar, president of Sarhad organisation.
He said former Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde also attended the programme.
The organisation is holding a Granth Yatra from Anandpur Sahib to Pune, on the occasion of 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh to celebrate the linguistic diversity of the country, he said. The Yatra will be flagged off tomorrow from Chandigarh.
