Rocker Mick Jagger's ex-girlfriend L'Wren Scott's brother has backed him, refuting rumours of his contribution to her death.
Randy Bambrough said he has a warm relationship with Jagger, days after Scott's sister Jan Shane had blasted the 'Rolling Stones' singer for his closeness with ballet dancer, Melanie Hamrick, reported Mirror.
"I continue to have a very warm relationship with Mick and have never questioned his love for L'Wren and how important she was in his life," Bambrough said.
It was reported that the Jagger met Hamrick backstage at a concert in Tokyo, days before Scott, 49, hanged herself in her New York apartment on March 17. Shane was apparently angry.
Bambrough hit back at speculation that Jagger's involvement with Hamrick with might have in any way played a part in his sister's suicide months ago.
"Usually I ignore these stories, but to suggest that my sister committed suicide because of a false accusation that Mick was involved with another woman is completely ridiculous," he said.
