Lalu Prasad recovering, to be shifted out of ICU: doctors

RJD leader Lalu Prasad who underwent a cardiac surgery at a hospital here last week was likely to be shifted out of ICU soon.
Dr Vijay D'Silva, Medical Director of Asian Heart Institute where Prasad was operated upon, said in a statement this evening that he was recovering.
"All his vital parameters are within normal limits. He is walking independently and is on normal diet. He is likely to be shifted out of ICU soon," said the statement.
The 66-year-old former Bihar Chief Minister, diagnosed with 'aortic stenosis', was operated on by a team of 20 doctors under the supervision of cardiac surgeon Dr Ramakanta Panda last week.
