Nilgris Mountain Railway services continued to be disrupted for the second day today with landslip near Barliar forcing the heritage train to return to Mettupalayam.
The train, which departed Mettupalayam at 7.10 am was halted in the middle following mud slide and fall of boulders on the track between Aderley and Hillgrove stations, railway sources said.
Nearly 150 passengers of the train were sent to Udhagamandalam by bus as it returned to Mettupalayam, they said.
NMR services were affected for the last 10 days due to land slide, at different places much to the disappointment of the holiday passengers and tourists.
