Lawyer shoots self with his gun in Haryana

A senior advocate allegedly took his own life by shooting himself with his licensed pistol here today, police said.
Raj Kumar Bhan allegedly killed himself at his Model Town residence this afternoon, they said.
Police said that after hearing gun shot, his family members rushed from the adjoining room and found him lying dead in the bathroom.
They told the police that a suicide note had been recovered from the spot, in which the advocate had mentioned that he was taking the extreme step as he was fed with his continued illness.
Rohit Jain, a lawyer, said that Bhan had remained Vice President of the District Bar Association and was very humble and polite.

Model Town police post in-charge said that the body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem examination.
