Lead prices eased 0.57 per cent to Rs 113.60 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed their exposures amid muted spot demand.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in January 2016 contracts fell by 65 paise, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 113.60 per kg in a business turnover of 15 lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery this month shed 60 paise, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 112.90 per kg in 407 lots.

Marketmen said the fall in lead futures was due to a subdued demand in domestic markets and weakness in the metal overseas.
