Rimes will air her own family TV show based on their lives at home together, reported People magazine.
"It is not a reality show, it's a 'show based on our reality. We'll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny," Rimes said.
"People have been laughing at us - we want them to laugh with us! For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don't actually know about us," she added.
Rimes has also shot down rumours that she will be making an appearance in 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alongside Cibrian's ex and her arch rival Brandi Glanville.
