The model-turned-actress made her film debut in the Maneesh Sharma-directed drama-thriller opposite Shah Rukh.
Waluscha, who has worked in several TV commercials with the "Chennai Express" star, feels Shah Rukh gives all his efforts while working in a movie.
"When you are shooting a TV commercial, that Shah Rukh is completely different from the one on a movie set because he is so much into his character. What I learnt from being around him on a movie set, is that you take your work extremely seriously," Waluscha told PTI.
"Fan" featured the 50-year-old actor in a double role, that of a superstar and a common man. Though the film garnered critical acclaim, it did not set the cash registers ringing at the box office.
Waluscha, however, says the team went against the tide to come out with a film which was unconventional by Bollywood standards.
"Also, because Shah Rukh is a romantic hero, everybody expected a lot of romance in the film as well. But you saw Shah Rukh in a very different way than what he has been presented as in the past. It is a huge achievement in every sense of the word," she added.
Waluscha recently bagged 'World Consulting and Research Corp' awards as the most promising debutante this year for her performance in "Fan". The actress says she is extremely elated with the recognition and feels now the bar has been set very high post her film debut.
