Leopard cub found dead in water tank in TN village

A six-month-old leopard cub was found dead in a water tank near hilly Valparai in the district today.
The villagers of Manikkachenguthaparai found the cub floating dead in the open water tank and informed the forest department, police said.
Forest officials, who visited the spot, retrieved the body and sent it for post-mortem.
