Dharasu forest area of Uttarkashi district, official sources today said.
The carcass of two-year-old leopard was noticed by some children last evening while they were playing. Later, their family members informed the forest officials of their area, they said.
The preliminary examination of the big cat has suggested that it might have killed during a fight with another wildcat as its all organs are found intact.
