Weather, however, remained mainly dry in southeast parts of the state, the MeT Department said.
Gaya received a rainfall of 34.8 mm, highest in the state today while Purnea and Patna registered 8.8 mm and 4.4 mm of rains respectively.
Bhagalpur received no rainfall and recorded a maximum temperature of 36.9 degrees Celsius, followed by 36.3 degrees Celsius each in Gaya and Purnea. Mercury in Patna settled at 36 degrees Celsius, the weatherman said.
Patna and Bhagalpur remained the most humid place with 81 per cent humidity each followed by 79 per cent of humidity in Gaya and 75 per cent in Purnea.
