The national capital today received light rains in some areas with the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at 34.2 and 25.9 degrees Celsius respectively, MeT office here said.
The humidity level oscillated between 61 and 90 per cent.
According to MeT department, the city is likely to experience cloudy skies with possibility of very light rains or thundershowers in some areas tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the weatherman has predicted a wet weekend for Delhi and a dry spell for next week.
The state, where 14 people lost their lives in separate incidents of house collapse and drowning today, continued to receive light to moderate showers.
Reports reaching here said that six people died in Jalaun, three in Pratapgarh, two each in Bulandshahr and Jaunpur and one in Gazipur districts in these incidents.
A total population of 17,01,937 has been hit by the floods in the state where 1,097 villages are adversely affected, relief commissioner's office said.
Continued rains, specially in the eastern regions of the state, has led to serious problems with the major rivers, including Ganga and Yamuna, continuing to flow above the danger mark.
Chandigarh, the joint capital of both the states, recorded a high of 33.8 deg C, the MeT Department here said.
Amritsar in Punjab registered a high of 35.4 deg C while Ludhiana and Patiala's had a maximum temperature of 34.2 deg C and 34.5 deg C respectively.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 34 deg C while Hisar's maximum settled at 35.4 deg C.
The MeT office has forecast not much change in maximum temperatures for the next two days in these two states.
