Rock band Linkin Park has announced that they will soon organise a special public event in the memory of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.
Bennington, 41, died by hanging on July 20 at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
The rock band took to Twitter to share the news of the concert and also thanked their fans for their unwavering support in the aftermath of Bennington's demise.
"We are working on a special public event in Los Angeles to honour Chester's memory, and look forward to sharing details with you soon...
"Just wanted to say thank you to all our fans around the world for the tremendous outpouring of love, which has strengthened our spirit during this incredibly difficult time," the note read.
Linkin Park has not performed or made many public appearances since the "Numb" singer's death.
"Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled a boisterous, funny, ambitious, creative, kind, generous voice in the room is missing.
"We're trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal," the statement issued by the group read after Bennington's death.
He was laid to rest at a private funeral service in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
