Linseeds oil surges on heavy demand, shot up Rs 200 per 10 kg

Linseeds oil prices surged at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to heavy demand from paint and allied industries on the back of inadequate stocks position.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also firmed up owing to sustained demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While, groundnut oil weakened further owing to poor offtake from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein held stable in absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the non-edible segment, linseeds oil climbed by Rs 200 per 10kg to Rs 1,000 from Monday's close Rs 800.
Castorseeds bold also rose by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 4,150 as against yesterday's close Rs 4,135 and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 860 from Rs 857.
Moving to edible section, groundnut oil slid by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 910 as compared Rs 920 and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 620 per 10kg.
