"Lohia in 1952, had warned Nehru about the intentions of China, but since then the Centre has not taken it seriously. Even the opposition failed to understand it. I gave several speeches in Parliament. I want the Prime Minister to take it seriously," Yadav said here.
He was speaking at a function here to mark the 47th death anniversary of the socialist leader.
Yadav said he had suggested the PM to find a solution of the border issue in consultation with the Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, along with IB and other agencies.
The SP supremo said the price rise is at its peak and they wanted to help in checking it, but for that the Centre has to adopt the policy of "daam bandho" (fix the prices), mooted by Lohia.
"A minister was even removed, but it was not clarified that why it was done," he said without taking any name.
