Lokayukta police search IPS officer's premises in MP

Lokayukta Police today carried out searches at the premises of a senior IPS officer here and at other places in Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, the Lokayukta sleuths carried out searches early morning at the various premises associated with Dr Mayank Jain, who is currently posted as Inspector General (Community Policing) at the police headquarters.
The Lokayukta Police acted on a complaint filed against him when Jain was posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at Ujjain, the sources said.
Efforts to contact Jain proved futile, they said, adding that further details are awaited.
