"Japan and India have been maintaining strong cultural and economic ties for centuries. Both the countries are largest and oldest democracies in Asia," Hiramatsu who called on Governor K Rosaiah here, was quoted as saying in a Raj Bhavan release.
Noting that the visit of Japanese Emperor in 2013 to Southern region was a matter of pride, he said, "Japan has a large industrial capacity and is home to some of the largest companies like Toyota, Honda. It looks forward to establish more manufacturing companies and for further exports(in the region)".
Ambassador's Wife Patricia Clara Aguado Hiramatsu, Japan Embassy First Secretary, Yasujiro Miyake, Japan Consul General, Seiji Baba were among those who were present on the occasion.
