On BSE, the scrip settled at Rs 1,449, down 1.74 per cent from its previous close. It had opened at Rs 1,482.85 and touched an early high of Rs 1,487.05
Following a downtrend in the counter, the market capitalisation of the company dropped by Rs 1,120.48 crore to Rs 65,409.12 crore.
Similarly, on NSE, the stock ended the day 1.72 per cent down at Rs 1448.95. It had opened at Rs 1,485 before climbing 0.91 per cent to a high of Rs 1,487.65.
Shares of Lupin had opened on a positive note on bourses after it announced the launch of generic version of its voriconazole tablets and oral suspension used for treatment of fungal infection in children.
