LVB appoints BK Manjunath as part-time chairman

Private sector lender Lakshmi Vilas Bank today said it has appointed B K Manjunath as a part-time chairman for three years.
Subsequent to Reserve Bank of India approval, the Bank board "co-opted" Manjunath as additional director in the category of non-executive and independent director yesterday, it said in a statement.
A practising chartered accountant for the last 25 years, Manjunath's expertise is in project financing, business administration and management, the bank said. ............................................................ Paytm enables vehicle Traffic Challan payments on its platform
Paytm today said it has launched traffic challan payments on its platform, in a partnership with the state traffic police departments.
The service is currently live in Mumbai, Pune and Vijayawada, and will be expanded to other cities soon, Paytm said in a statement.
Vehicle owners can now log onto Paytm, tap on 'Traffic Challan', enter their vehicle number, and after verifying the details, proceed to pay for the challan.
This will generate a digital invoice and the customer's surrendered documents will be dispatched via postal services by the respective police department. .............................................................. EY launches soft asset management tool
Consultancy firm EY today launched a software asset management (SAM) tool to help businesses optimise their spends on information technology.
The solution is an automated tool that can help businesses manage software entitlements, deployments, costs and associated compliance with software licensing terms and conditions, and intellectual property regulations, it said.
"We aim to help businesses monitor the maturity levels of their SAM processes, ensuring that both compliance and costs are managed effectively," its partner for advisory services Maya Ramachandran said.
