Madhumita Das appointed VC of Fakir Mohan University

Odisha Governor and Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University S C Jamir today appointed Madhumita Das as the Vice-Chancellor of the varsity for a period of three years, a statement issued by Raj Bhavan said.
Das's appointment as VC of Fakir Mohan University, Balasore will come into effect from the date she assumes office as such or until further orders.
At present Das is working as Professor, Department of Geology in Utkal University. She is having 37 years of teaching experience and has authored three books.
She has 120 research publications published in national and international journals.
