Congress spokesman Sachin Sawant has also sought removal of various government advertisements.
Sawant said he called upon State Election Commissioner J S Saharia and also written to the electoral officer to press for the demand.
He said the State EC has failed to remove the PM's posters from petrol pumps and also the government ads featuring Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis from buses, bus terminals and other prominent places.
Sawant said he wrote to Chief Electoral Officer Ashwini Kumar stating that posters of all political parties are being removed.
