Gadkari, whose name too was being bandied about for the Chief Minister's post after BJP emerged as the single largest party in the Assembly elections, arrived here today.
Talking to reporters, Gadkari congratulated Fadanvis on his election as the chief of Maharashtra BJP legislature party and said that Fadanvis, as the Chief Minister, would steer the state to good governance and live up to people's expectations.
Nagpur, the second capital of the state from which both the leaders hail, would get its due and the prestigious Multi Modal International Passenger and Cargo Hub (Mihan) project here will also get an impetus with Fadanvis at the helm, Gadkari said.
