Bustamante takes over from Erik D Auchamp, who has been elevated as Managing Director, Mahou San Miguel, a role based out of Madrid, Spain.
"India is one of the most competitive beer markets in the world and I hope to drive the business further ahead by building on innovation to give new dimensions to the beer drinking culture in India," Bustamante said.
A graduate in Law from San Pablo CEU University, Fernando has been working with Mahou San Miguel since 1991 in several capacities, and has spent the last 26 years holding various managerial positions in on and off trade business in Spain.
Mahou India's portfolio includes three products - Mahou 5 Star, Mahou Clasica and Dare Devil, currently present in 16 states.
