"We noticed a dead baby in the water and informed the police about it following which the police team came and took it along with them," Mukul, a local resident said.
Police said they have registered a case and started investigations into the matter.
"The male foetus is three to four months old and was thrown in the water. We have registered a case and have started investigations into the case," Station House officer of Trikuta Nagar police station, Naveen Angral said.
