Banerjee, who will be contesting from the Diamond Harbour seat in West Bengal, has told the Election Commission in an affidavit that his income during the financial year 2012-13 was Rs 44,64,101.
His wife Ruchira earned Rs 29,33,949 during the period.
The 26-year-old national president of Trinamool Congress Yuva team, also an MBA, runs a consultancy service.
Banerjee, who now stays with the Chief Minister at 30B Harish Chatterjee Street, owns movable assets worth Rs 23.5 lakh including shares, LIC and a second-hand SUV bought last year.
His wife, on the other hand, owns movable assets of Rs 54 lakh.
