Police said one of the accused was victim's brother-in-law who was allegedly provoked by his sister to murder her husband who had seen her in a compromising position with her paramour.
"Babulal had seen his 35-year-old wife with her paramour Srinath in a compromising position. The couple had heated arguments over this several times.
"On April 6, he sent his wife to her brother's house in Madhya Pradesh where she misled her brother Dinesh and provoked him to kill Babulal," SHO Arjun Lal said.
Police said Babulal's 17-year-old son also helped them in dumping the body. He later lodged a false FIR saying that his father was missing.
"His son was not aware of the alleged his mother's extra marital affair. Hence, he helped the murderers of his father," the SHO said, adding that the son and the mother have also been detained and are being interrogated.
