Man arrested for raping 11-year-old daughter

A 29-year-old man was arrested today on charges of sexually abusing his own minor daughter, near Annur, about 20 km from here, police said.
The man allegedly sexually abused the girl, a 5th standard student, when his wife was present in the house, following which a complaint was lodged and he was arrested.
Police said some two months ago the 11-year-old girl had informed her mother that the father had sexually abused her but she did not believe it then.
