Man arrested for repeatedly sexually assaulting minor girl

A middle-aged man was today arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl at Fathedarwaza area here, police said.
Accused Mohd Siraj, 50, a worker, who is a neighbour of the minor girl used to lure her on pretext of giving money and chocolates and repeatedly sexually assault her, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Charminar Division) K Ashok Chakravarthy said.
"The accused sexually assaulted her thrice in the past 10-days," the ACP said based on a complaint lodged by the victim's mother.
The victim narrated the events to her mother. Subsequently, her mother lodged a complaint in this regard at Hussaini Alam police station following which a case under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act was registered.

In a late night press release, police gave the names
of the accused as P K Singh, Bhagel Singh, Deepak Rathod and B K Singh.
A probe is on but no arrest has been made so far, Thane city police PRO Sukhada Narkar said in the release.
