A man in China attacked children inside a Beijing primary school, injuring 20 of them, state media reported Tuesday.
The attacker, whose motive was not immediately known, has been arrested, CGTN news channel reported.
The condition of three of the children is said to be critical.
All injured have been hospitalised.
The incident took place around 11:17 AM (local time) at the elementary school in central Beijing's Xicheng district.
In January 2017, a farmer slashed and injured 12 children with a knife at a kindergarten in Youyi town, Pingxiang city. Four children were seriously injured while eight others received minor injuries. The man has been executed.
