was found in the district following which a murder case has been registered against unknown persons, police said.
The body, of a man aged around 33, was recovered last night at the isolated Torangan ghat on Trimbakeshwar-Javhar road, police Inspector Mukund Deshmukh said today.
The body was noticed by a forest guard who then informed police about it.
Later, the police rushed to the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
A mobile phone was recovered near the body and police managed to speak to the person whose number was found last dialled in the call logs, he said.
Acase has been registered under sections 302, 201 of IPC against unknown persons and a search for the killers was on, police added.
