A local court on Tuesday sentenced a man to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl in August 2012.
First Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Suneetha Kunchala found the man guilty of kidnapping and raping the girl under relevant sections of the IPC.
The man was sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping and 10 years for raping the minor girl, Additional Public Prosecutor T Padma Latha Reddy said.
