The judge pronounced the sentence after the court held Akbar Ansari guilty in the murder case that took place in Dumka under Town police station area.
The victim, Munna Kumar alias Vijay Kumar Singh's brother Ajay Kumar Singh named Ansari accused in the FIR that was lodged on March 13, 2006.
According to the FIR, Ansari had fatally attacked Ajay with a sharp weapon following a quarrel over a petty issue.
Both the persons were in inebriated state when the incident took place. PTI CORR BS
