Rakesh Kumar was killed by his elder brother, Pramod (25) in the wee hours today after he hit him with an iron rod on his head, a senior police officer said.
Pramod told police that when he woke up at around 3:30 AM, he didn't find his wife in the room. He went on looking for her but couldn't find her, he said.
When he knocked at the door of Rakesh's room, it went unanswered for a long time. After persistent knocks, Rakesh opened the door and Pramod saw his wife in his brother's room, said the officer.
However, he later killed Rakesh with an iron rod after which he was arrested, police said.
