A man poisoned his two-year-old daughter and then committed suicide in Ballabhgarh here, blaming his wife and in-laws for the extreme step.
The body of Sunil Solanki was found this morning hanging from the ceiling of his room in Arya Nagar, ACP Ballabgarh Gajendra Singh said.
A suicide note was recovered, purportedly written by Solanki, in which he said that he had poisoned his daughter and blamed his wife, Renu, and in-laws for the extreme step, the ACP said.
The deceased's brother alleged that soon after his marriage to Renu, the couple had started fighting frequently and after a few days his in-laws filed a complaint with the police.
On the basis of the suicide note, police have registered a case against his wife, her parents and her brother under the provisions of abetment of suicide, police said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and further investigation would be initiated only after the postmortem report is received, the ACP said.
