The incident took place this morning when the deceased identified as Sonu alias Sohanveer was called by an unidentified person at Loni railway station trijunction, they said.
Upon reaching there, some miscreants shot at him, seriously injuring Sonu who ran to a chemist shop for help following which the accused shot at him again before fleeing from the spot.
Police rushed Sonu to GTB hospital in Delhi where doctors declared him dead, station incharge Gorakhnath Yadav said.
A year-and-a-half ago, Sonu had married Sapna, daughter of one Baburam, who were residents of Indrapuri colony here.
In his complaint, the father of the deceased has accused five persons, including Sonu's father-in-law Baburam and brother-in-law Neeraj for the murder.
Efforts are on to arrest the accused, Yadav said.
