Man shot dead over old rivalry

A man was shot dead allegedly by four persons allegedly over an old rivalry in Kotwali area, police said here today.
Satish Kashyap (45) was shot dead by four motorcycle-borne men at the bus stand when he was returning along with his brother Mahesh after seeing off his relatives, they said.
On the basis of a complaint filed by Mahesh, an FIR has been lodged against Babloo Yadav, Yashpal, his brother Babu Yadav and one other, police said.
Meanwhile, a head constable Dev Singh has been suspended by SSP Akash Kulkarni for allegedly conniving with the assailants.
