Police today claimed to have busted a gang dealing in illegal arms with the arrest of a man and seized five country-made guns from him in the neighbouring Shamli district.
The man was arrested from Khodsama village under the Jhinjhana police station area yesterday, SP Ajaypal Sharma said.
The police arrested the man, later identified as Naseebulla, and seized five pistols from him, Sharma said.
During questioning, the man confessed the guns were to be handed over to his contacts.
