The incident was reported from Malviya Nagar and the deceased has been identified as Leinganphi (21).
It was her landlord who discovered her dead. She was lying on a blood soaked bed with a mobile phone in her hand, police said.
The girl had come to Delhi a few months ago.
Police said the cause of death is being investigated and body has been sent for postmortem.
