Manjhi takes up minister's son ragging case with MP CM

Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today talked to his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj Singh Chauhan on suspected case of ragging of state Cooperative Minister Jai Kumar Singh's son at a prestigious school in Gwalior due to which he is battling for life.
Manjhi urged Chauhan to get the incident at Scindia School, Gwalior probed and punish the culprit, officials in Chief Minister Office, said.
Adarsh Kumar Singh, son of Jai Kumar Singh is still in unconscious state in Delhi's Apollo hospital, a close kin of the boy told PTI over phone from hospital.
He said the minister was in ICU and has handed over his cell phone to him.

The kin said doctors are saying that the boy is positively responding to the treatment. But, he is still to gain consciousness. He was brought to the hospital on Thursday.
The minister has claimed that his son Adarsh has become victim of suspected ragging in Scindia school at Gwalior where he was studying in Class IX.

Singh had said yesterday that the school authority told him that his son tried to commit suicide on Wednesday night and was in serious condition.
He, however, said it was not possible and claimed his son suffered due to ragging by seniors.
The boy had complained to his mother in the past about harassment from seniors. But, we never thought the matter was so serious, the minister has said.
