Manoj Tiwari meets Nizamuddin Dargah head, traders

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari today met the head of Nizamuddin Dargah and interacted with traders, including Muslims, as part of his ongoing campaign to popularise mobile banking apps and cashless transactions.
This morning Tiwari boarded a Metro train from Central Secretariat to Kashmere Gate and headed further to Mori Gate on an e-rickshaw to address a gathering of traders.
He assured them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to provide a "clean" atmosphere for trade to grow, and the implementation of demonetisation process and GST are steps in that direction.
Tiwari also addressed a gathering of Muslim traders at the party office where he also interacted with Sajjada Nashin of Nizamuddin Dargah, Gulam Nizam Nizami.

The event, organised by the minorities front of the party, was attended by several Muslim traders.
Party spokesperson Shahnawaj Hussain also addressed the traders. He said forging a cashless economy is a "national duty" of every citizen of the country.
"Some political parties are trying to mislead the people, including minorities, that demonetisation will harm them which is a false propaganda. The Prime Minister stands by the agenda of cohesive and inclusive development and will ensure the protection of interest of the minorities," he said.
The Delhi BJP chief said Modi, in his first address in the Parliament, had made it clear that the government's main commitment would poverty eradication, terming it as the main problem faced by both Hindus and Muslims and instead of fighting amongst themselves they should come together to fight poverty and illiteracy.
