MapmyIndia launches match box size GPS tracking device

Navigation technology company MapmyIndia today announced the launch of a match box size equivalent GPS enabled tracking device, SafeMate, on Flipkart for Rs 6,990.
The price includes Rs 3,600 worth of the first year SIM card connectivity charges and service subscription fees.
SafeMate has built-in GPS and internet connectivity, using which it continuously and securely transmits the live location of person to be tracked on mobile phone and computer.
In case of an emergency, user of device can instantly press the large and easily accessible SOS button, which will send email and SMS alert to designated people.

flydubai selects Mindtree as a strategic technology partner * Mid-tier IT firm Mindtree today said it has partnered Dubai-based flydubai to shape the full digital experience of the connected traveller.

Mindtree will focus on transforming flydubai's information technology to support passenger sales and service systems, including services like electronic ticketing and real-time baggage tracking, Mindtree said in a statement.
The agreement will also extend to other strategic business areas such as revenue management, target monitoring, ancillary revenue and operational optimisation, it added.
